Sanghavi, originally named Kavya Ramesh, is a renowned Indian actress and model primarily recognized for her contributions to Telugu and Tamil cinema. Her prominence in the South Indian film industry lasted for an impressive decade, spanning from 1993 to 2004. Over her 15-year career, Sanghavi graced the screen in more than 80 feature films, with 38 in Telugu, 35 in Tamil, six in Kannada, two in Malayalam, and one in Hindi.

Born in Mysore, Karnataka, Sanghavi is the daughter of Dr. D. A. Ramesh, an ENT Professor at Mysore Medical College, and Mrs. Ranjana. She received her education at Marimallappa High School and is also the granddaughter of Aarathi’s elder sister, a well-known Kannada film actress.

Sanghavi’s cinematic journey began in 1993 with her debut in the Tamil film “Amaravathi.” In 2016, Sanghavi tied the knot with IT Professional Venkatesh in a ceremony held at Taj Vivanta in Bengaluru. The couple welcomed a baby girl into their lives in January 2020.

In 2005, Sanghavi encountered an accident while traveling from Mysore to Chennai, resulting in a minor injury to her nose. Remarkably, her father, an ENT professor at Mysore Medical College, performed the surgery, highlighting her family’s medical background. After a hiatus, Sanghavi made her comeback to the film industry in 2019, starring in a movie scripted by Naveen. Her enduring career and remarkable journey continue to captivate audiences in the world of Indian cinema.
